Andrew and I completed the Bath Skyline Walk this morning on behalf of Bath Cats and Dogs Home. It’s a National Trust walk with spectacular views over Bath, stunning wild flowers and beautiful woodland.

We managed to raise around £140 through the help of family and friends which we were very pleased with. We are both animal lovers and love the fact we’ve been able to help. We’ve decided to go walking a lot more. It’s a wonderful way of keeping fit and there are usually plenty of adorable dogs to keep you happy along the way.

I’ve spent the weekend teaching myself how to make crochet flowers. There are so many different flower patterns available online, it’s really inspiring. Anybody who really knows me, knows how much I love both bright colours and flowers. I used a 1983 vintage pattern for the top one and a Mollie Makes pattern for the bottom one. Despite them being listed online as beginners patterns, I did find them a little tricky to master. Mainly because of the abbreviations and confusing layout. The great thing is, with a bit of perseverance I got there in the end. I’m planning on building up a little collection of these. I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

Beautiful house just around the corner from where I live. I frequently walk past and admire the paint colour. I love the rocking chair in the window also. It makes me want one.
